Spring onion paratha recipe - Paratha is one of the favorite breakfast dishes which we like to have often. Spring onions are usually used in Indo-chinese cooking as a garnish. But we can also prepare delicious parathas out of the spring onions. Whenever I have a bunch of these green onions, I make parathas and zunka. Though I make some side dishes to serve with parathas, I personally prefer  to have it with pickle, chutney and yogurt.

Paneer matar stuffed paratha recipe - Paratha, chapathi, and roti are our staple food. The whole process of making this paratha is easy and very simple to prepare in the comfort of the kitchen. For stuffing, mix green peas coarse paste, grated paneer and mild spice powder.
The stuffing technique is very simple. Just roll the poori sized roti and place the filling, then join the edges and roll into thin paratha. Shallow fry it on a griddle using ghee. An amazing paneer matar paratha will be ready within few minutes.

This is a simple version of mixing the ingredients and rolling the thin theplas, then shallow frying on a griddle with very less oil or ghee. Stuffed paneer, cauliflower, potato paratha recipe - Most of the time, I end up in making parathas either for breakfast or lunch. I am always keen to make parathas and happily make them because these contain some vegetables which is essential for nourishment and satiation. Paneer  cauliflower paratha is a star dish, both the combination create creamy texture, rich and higher in taste if compared to other vegetable parathas.  Hence this is an ideal party dish too. Anyway, I had prepared this for our breakfast. Being a bit heavy on stomach, I compensate with a light lunch and manage the calories for the day.

Puran poli recipe - Puran poli is a popular Indian stuffed sweet paratha, which is called with different names in different parts of India. It is prepared on the occasion of festivals such as Gudi Padwa (Ugadi), Holi, Ram navami etc. It is made by using wheat flour, all purpose flour, bengal gram and jaggery.  It goes well with katachi amti, ghee and milk. Usually, dough for puran poli is made of using wheat flour only. But you can use all purpose flour and wheat flour together to have an attractive appearance as done by me in this recipe.

Burfi paratha is a stuffed sweet paratha which is prepared using besan mawa burfi. I have used some home made burfi just to finish them off in a different and tastier way. Like puran poli, this is also served with ghee and milk but definitely tastes different than regular puran poli. To make such burfi parathas you can also use any variety of burfis like mango burfi and almond burfi. Pumpkin paratha recipe - I love to make parathas often because of its ease, simplicity and wholesomeness.  It is convenient to pack parathas in lunch box and we can have it for breakfast too. In my hometown, large sized pumpkins are grown in the backyard of our house. We grew up seeing and eating pumpkin in large scale. We are not a great fan of pumpkin, but whenever we buy pumpkin here,  make sabzi, sweet poori, appe or paratha from it. Like any other paratha, this is also goes well with tomato ketchup, chutneys, pickles and yogurt.

White gourd coriander leaves paratha recipe - Today I have come up with an easy to prepare lauki or bottle gourd paratha recipe. White gourd is a healthy vegetable which many do not like.
