- 2 cups wheat flour
- 4 large sized besan mawa burfis
- Salt as required
- Ghee as required
- 1 tbsp sugar powder (optional)
Method
- Put wheat flour in a large plate. Add salt and sufficient water. Knead it to a smooth and firm dough. Cover with lid and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
- In the meantime, grate the burfis in another plate, mix the sugar powder and keep it aside.
- Divide the dough into 7 equal round portions. Spread some wheat flour on one portion of the dough.
- Then roll out this portion of dough ball into a small, thick and round roti.
- Place 2 tbsp of grated burfi on the roti. Lift the edges to the top and join them to give a modak shape. Twist the tip and flatten it.
- Spread some wheat flour on above prepared dough ball. Roll it as thin as possible to make burfi paratha.
- Heat a pan over a medium flame and gently place the burfi paratha.
- Pour 1/4 tsp ghee on it. Cook for 3-4 minutes until light golden colour from both sides.
- Remove from the pan and serve the burfi paratha hot with ghee and milk.
