Matar mushroom bhaji - Today I have come up with matar mushroom bhaji for you all. Here button mushrooms are available throughout the year and you can make varieties of dishes with it. Though the green peas are seasonal, frozen green peas are available in any grocery store. This bhaji is really a spicy version with full of aroma. It is very simple to prepare and the whole process takes few minutes. I am sure, you will definitely enjoy the preparation and taste of this bhaji. I have added kala masala to give it a twist of Maharashtrian tatse. Kala masala is totally optional. If you don't have kala masala, you can use garam masala instead of kala masala.

Thalipeeth using bhajni - My previous post was bhajni for thalipeeth. I have prepared this thalipeeth using that flour. This is one of our  favorite breakfast dish. Sometimes I make thalipeeth and serve with some chutney and yogurt and my breakfast task gets over. Thalipeeth is prepared with different versions in Maharashtrian house hold. Sometimes, I add sweet corns to the batter as it gives different texture and taste.

Bhajni for thalipeeth recipe - Bhajni is nothing but a flour made with roasted rice, green grams, black grams and bengal grams with other essential ingredients such as coriander seeds, cumin seeds and fenugreek seeds. Bhajni is a Marathi word.  I have posted bhajni for chakli earlier. But, this bhajni is slightly different than the bhajni for chakli, as the flour for chakli is ground to fine powder whereas the flour for thalipeeth is coarse.

Apple strawberry fruit punch recipe - It is a perfect time to prepare some cool, really very cool drinks to beat the scorching heat.Today I have prepared this fruit punch with apple, strawberries and milk. I used the fruits available in my refrigerator. I had strawberries and apples. This is a very delicious and filling fruit punch which can be made in a jiffy. In summer, we feel like drinking something cold rather than eating something spicy. In such situation, I just prepare milk shake or fruit juice and we are more than happy to consume it for our breakfast. Ghosale sukke - As I always buy plenty of ridge gourds from market, I make simple ghossale sukke several times which goes well with rotis. Ridge gourd is a bland vegetable and therefore it is necessary to add flavour and taste to it. When I make this upkari without adding water and cooked it in its own juice, it really turns a tasty side dish.

Here I have flavored the stir fry with tadka, green chilli and freshly grated coconut. Another plus point of this dish is that it can be prepared within few minutes and is very healthy. Whenever I am in a hurry to cook, I make such stir fry and wind up my cooking as fast as I can. Check out another variation of  ridge gourd palya which I had posted earlier.
