Adrak lasun jeera chutney recipe - Ginger, garlic and cumin seedschutney is one of my favorite chutneys. This is an authentic chutney always liked by my family members. The  ginger, garlic and cumin seeds add an extra flavour and unique taste to the chutney.  This chutney besides being tasty, helps in digestion also. Idli, dosa and vada goes well with chutneys. This is one of the  varieties of chutneys which I prepare often.

Puran poli recipe - Puran poli is a popular Indian stuffed sweet paratha, which is called with different names in different parts of India. It is prepared on the occasion of festivals such as Gudi Padwa (Ugadi), Holi, Ram navami etc. It is made by using wheat flour, all purpose flour, bengal gram and jaggery.  It goes well with katachi amti, ghee and milk. Usually, dough for puran poli is made of using wheat flour only. But you can use all purpose flour and wheat flour together to have an attractive appearance as done by me in this recipe.

Katachi amti recipe - Katachi amti is a Maharashtrian dish, slightly spicy with balanced tangy and sweet taste.When chana dal is boiled to make puran ploi, the drained water of boiled chana dal is  used to make delicious rasam or amti. This is very flavorful and extremely delicious rasam. Amti pairs well with puran poli and rice. I like the amti most, it is my favorite and favorite of everybody at home. A meal with puran poli is incomplete without katachi amti. Traditionally, some filling mixture which is known as puran made for puran poli is also used to make it. So here is the recipe for this delicious amti.

Dalia upma recipe - Dalia upma is a simple and filling breakfast dish prepared with broken wheat. It is very important to have a balanced breakfast in the morning, after a long gap between dinner and breakfast. Therefore I prefer a filling and healthy breakfast for my family. Mango rasayana recipe - Mango rasayana is a coconut based traditional dessert of  Karnataka prepared with mango, coconut and jaggery. It has creamy texture and delicious sweet taste of  jaggery and mango. Coconut paste and the cardamoms enhance the flavour. To get a smooth texture, coconut milk can be substituted in place of coconut paste. But we like the rough texture. So I have used coconut paste. I make rasayana with mashmelon (chibud), muskmelon, ripe banana (plantain) and mango. This is one of the best desserts I like to make often. You can prepare it within few minutes and during mango season it is usually served as a dessert after meal. Some even like to enjoy with pooris.
