You need to add flavor by using onion, curry leaves, ginger, coriander leaves and green chillies.

Most of the time I make pulao in cooker, but here I have precooked the rice, then made a tempering with onion, whole spices and other ingredients. I have tried both methods. and pulao tastes equally good.
