Mango Humman Recipe
Cooking time - 10 minutes
Yield - Serves 2
Ingredients
- 2 semi ripe mangoes ( any variety)
- 6 garlic flakes, crushed
- 15-16 curry leaves
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1-2 tbsp oil
- 1/3 cup jaggery or as required
- Wash and peel the semi ripe mangoes.Cut them into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds in it. When they splutter, add the crushed garlic cloves. Saute till aromatic. Add the green chillies and curry leaves. Saute for a minute.
- Add the mango pieces. Saute for 2 minutes. Add 3/4 cup of water and salt. Mix well. Cover with lid and cook till mango becomes very soft. Mango cooks very fast.
- When mango is completely cooked, add 1/3 cup of jaggery and bring it to boil. Once it boils, remove from the flame.
- The mango humman cane be stored in the refrigerator for a week
Note
Ingredients may be changed on the size of the mangoes and the individual taste.

6. The Mango humman can be stored in the refrigerator for a week
