buttermilk in serving glasses
Chaas with jeera powder recipe - Buttermilk or chaas with jeera powder is a refreshing cool drink for all seasons. I churn yogurt to make buttermilk almost everyday. Adding jeera powder to it enhances the flavour and taste as well. Being a predigested form, it is easily digestible, even elderly people may have it. Usually, buttermilk is served during meal.

cucumber lassi ready to serve
Cucumber lassi or kakdichi recipe - We all Indians suffer from scorching heat and very often make some cool drinks such as lassi, sharbat, lemonade, fruit juice, panna, etc. to beat the heat. Whatever the fruit I bring I blend it to a smooth puree, chill it in the refrigerator and serve as a drink.

Bhindi or ladies finger  raita recipe - This is a simple and easy raita recipe prepared to accompany the spicy main course and rice. Nothing can be a better cooler than chilled raitas when you have a spicy main course in your platter. Like other raita, this raita is also made using strained yogurt. If you use the strained yogurt, the raita doesn't turn watery. Otherwise, you will miss those creamy yummy texture and great taste.
