21 Chutney recipes - Collection of Indian chutney recipes

Collection of chutney and chutney powder recipes - Chutneys are an integral part of Indian cuisine. These are nice accompaniment to idli, dosa, uttappam, rotis, paratha, rice, samosa, vada  and so many. There are many varieties of chutneys and can be prepared within few minutes. Durable chutneys are handy and can be made instant chutney by mixing chutney powder in yogurt. I have compiled chutneys, chutney powder, pickles and paste for marination recipes for your convenience.

Til Shenga Chutney Powder -  A very handy and healthy chutney powder prepared with roasted sesame seeds or til, ground nuts, cumin seeds and curry leaves. This is a durable chutney powder which can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature. It can be served as it is or you can make instant chutney by mixing it with yogurt.

Capsicum Chutney - A very simple, easy and quick capsicum chutney which can be prepared with few  basic ingredients. To make a smokey flavored  Capsicums, green chilly, ginger and garlic are delicately roasted on stove top. Then these ingredients are grind to smooth paste by using very little amount of water. This capsicum chutney  is a great accompaniment to roti, dosa, idli, thepla and paratha. 

Peanut Cilantro Chutney - This is a flavorful chutney prepared with coriander leaves, peanut, green chillies, cumin seeds, lemon and sugar. This chutney is served with staple food like idli,  dosa, roti, paratha, bread and samosa. A very popular chutney of  Maharashtra and is healthy with all nutritious ingredients.

Tomato Pepper Garlic Chutney - This chutney gain vibrant red colour with the use of tomatoes. Most of the time I make tomato chutney for parathas. It also goes well with roti, chapathi and parathas. This is a spicy chutney and is a perfect chutney for those who likes spicy side dish.

Coconut Coriander Peanut Chutney - This chutney is made with  coriander leaves, roasted pea nuts or ground nuts, fresh coconut, roasted green chillies, lemon, sugar and salt. This is a very popular chutney of Maharashtra.
