Collection of home made paneer and amchur recipes

How to Make Amchur at Home - Amchur powder is an essential ingredient in preparing staple food like curry, sambar, chutney, fritters etc. Amchur powder can be made at home very easily with sun dried amchur or raw mango pieces. I have posted how to make amchur at home recipe and can be made very easily by peeling the skin and chopping the raw mangoes to thin slices. then mix this mango slices with sufficient salt and spread them on a thin cloth under sun till they become very dry and crispy. Put this amchur in a mixer jar and grind it to a fine powder to make amchur powder.

How to Make Paneer at Home - Making paneer at home is very easy. It is made with full fat milk and lemon or yogurt. The paneer is very soft and tasty because it doesn't contain corn flour or any thickening agent. Milk is boiled and while boiling yogurt or lemon juice is added slowly. When the milk curdled the whey is strained through a thin strainer or muslin cloth. Then the paneer is collected and stored in the refrigerator to prepare delicious dishes.
